Technical description

The new double screw pneumatic feeder TECHPRO® 50 is used for the feeding of pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetic powders with a difficult rate of sliding. It is complete with an internal four arms agitator.

It is fit for low rates and is recommended for feeding of fine granulometric (below 700 µm).

It is easy to use and to clean. Parts in contact with powder are in AISI 316L mirror polished.

Driven by an oil-free pneumatic motor with speed adjustment through an high-accuracy pressure reducer 0,05 : 4 bar.

The feeder is fit with pneumatic instruments are installed over the control switchboard. Both for pneumatic motor and pressure reducer, it is required oil-free, ultrafiltered and dried compressed air.

The motor is complete of pneumatical oil-free planetary gear box.

The feeder hopper (volume 0,6L) is easy to disassemble and it is fit with cover safety-protection net and closing-knob.

Upon request, a special pre-hopper of 4,5 liter in AISI 316L can be installed.

We are glad to announce that recently (28-30 March 2012) we passed a 3-day FDA inspection successfully at both our manufacturing sites, Molinazzo di Monteggio and Madonna del Piano, without any observation.

Possibility to produce nanoparticles by super- critical fluid precipitation under fully cGMP conditions.
