Two jet-mills, a MC50 and a MC200, installed in Glove-Boxes, are designed in order to handle the micronization of High Activity Substances (HAS) under safe and monitored conditions.

This equipment provides micronization of pharma and chemical toxic powders in a totally closed loop, avoiding any contact of the powder with external contamination sources, whilst at the same time protecting the operator from active ingredient contamination during the micronizing process.

The operator controls the micronizing process externally, via latex gloves installed at strategic points, from where he can easily reach all necessary ancillaries for the proper functioning of the plant.

The powder to be micronized is introduced into the Glove Box through the lateral containers, made of acrylic glass, adapted with double openings and gas plugs in order to neutralise the internal atmosphere.

Possibility to produce nanoparticles by super- critical fluid precipitation under fully cGMP conditions.
